Founded in 1984 by Jim Thompson who still serves as president and CEO, the business began as a specialty industrial distributor of 3M™ adhesives and tapes. While the 3M™ industrial products remain a primary distribution focus, our line has expanded over the years to include such brands as Henkel Loctite® adhesives and equipment, Dynabrade® industrial power tools, DAP®, Shurtape®, American Biltrite™ and R Tape®.
In the late 1980's Thomco expanded it business model with a manufacturing and converting business. This venture began with die-cut 3M™ tapes, and now includes a myriad of materials regularly converted into value-added parts. Thomco further expanded its capabilities to include flexographic custom tag and label printing.
Today, Thomco is strongly poised for continual growth well into the future. Together, with our supplier partners and dedicated employees we provide answers for complex assembly challenges and custom converting solutions.
Our enormous success over the last 24 years can be directly traced
